Vulnerable post alert – some of you may have seen our about page or otherwise know about my health journey. If not, check it out right here then come back… Considering all of that history, I know I really have to stay in tune with what my body wants and honor it, but sometimes I fail… hard. Luckily I am able to accept my errors in self-care regarding my diet and exercise regimen, and acknowledge that I may need some retuning at times to assure that my intuitive eating doesn’t turn to a junk food meal plan. Fun fact – it kind of did last year, and I was feeling so discouraged about how to get back to my best self! This experience was a great catalyst to where I am now!

After I started fully working from home and focusing on building our businesses plus all the usual stuff we have to manage, my health fell off my to-do list. I got so busy and careless with my food choices that even with the exercise I was doing on the home gym, the amount of junk I was eating was still affecting me negatively. Even with some of the most extreme fad diets out there, it is possible to be very unhealthy! Junk & processed food is readily available across ALL sorts of popular diets! I felt sluggish all the time, struggled to stay active, was always exhausted, my digestion was all out of whack again, fibromyalgia pain was back, BP and resting heart went up (by a LOT) and I started having other unpleasant symptoms flare. NOT GOOD!

I had tried numerous things over the course of the last year, including some of the most restrictive diets you could imagine.

I was not at my best-trying, but feeling so discouraged about the whole process.

Nothing was working, no matter how hard I tried, and every symptom I’d worked so hard to get rid of was back, along with an extra 10 pounds on top of the little extra weight I had already gained. I was getting more uncomfortable in my own body and feeling worse than ever health-wise.
