I am always looking at new ways to brush up on my marketing skills and knowledge. Obviously, I’m usually up to date on the hottest books and resources. So, of course I am a Russell Brunson fan and watch a lot of his stuff. As one of the first online creators I ran into years ago, I have always followed the principles he talks about in his work. This book is a deeper dive into the ways that traffic is a pillar of success with any online business. The ways that the concepts are explained make a lot of sense and are engaging while illustrating the points. The amount of storytelling and passion for the concepts makes it an easy read.
So, why do I care about this? This is a food blog after all, right? Well, I am the lady behind it, and alongside my husband Roy, have built this food blog into more than just a simple place to land from a high performing Instant Pot recipe. A lot of the growth and expansion we’ve seen in our businesses stemmed from concepts that Russell talks about and teaches. His work is so popular and effective, that even before we knew we were using his methods, we were!
Working from home for me means overseeing the operations of a couple blogs, helping my husband with our web design business and online store (plus social media for all). All the while, still maintaining my job I’ve always been so passionate about in healthcare, though just on weekends now. I love every single thing I have on my plate, but let’s be honest - I am just one mama!
In addition to working from home, we also maintain our home and care for our two amazing kids full time. That’s right - no regular daycare here! You guessed it right - I am working 7 days a week. I know it may seem crazy, but again, I truly love everything that I do! However, when the workload is high, I often have to neglect my self education for our business operations. A concise, no nonsense book like this is just what I need to have at my disposal for a quick and educational read!
The Fourth Secrets Book!
As a busy mompreneur, I don’t have time to spend hours and hours taking so many courses and reading so many different books to learn how to implement effective marketing practices. I need the quick run down of what I can do TODAY to start adding to the success of our existing businesses. This book gives me that, and also comes with a framework to analyze the businesses in order to make a personalized plan for each!
I’ve been a fan of Russell’s revolutionary concepts and regular consume his business content. Reading the trilogy books was one of the highlights of my online business self education experience! That’s another reason I was so excited for this opportunity.
Even if I can’t consume AAAALLLL the marketing content right now due to my many obligations, I’ll always reach for Russell’s stuff first. I know I am getting a lot out of this book, and the whole series!
I am really excited that there is an evergreen resource with Russell’s books, and this one was my favorite so far! Love that this framework is in place to take on this Traffic Challenge and really dive into what our blogs and businesses need to be successful. Success can come from getting the right eyes on your content, and Russell spills all the secrets in this awesome book!
